At Andrea Devins Opticians, we go beyond the usual: our comprehensive 45-minute eye exams allow us ample time to understand your vision, lifestyle, and specific needs. We’re committed to precision and patient satisfaction, dedicating an extra 25 minutes compared to standard appointments to ensure a thorough evaluation.

Andrea Devins
With over 15 years of experience, Andrea’s passion for personalised eye care is the foundation of her practice. She combines her expertise in clinical care and eyewear styling to ensure every patient receives exceptional service. Originally from Carrickmacross, Andrea graduated from the University of Ulster and gained extensive experience working in Dublin and London, specialising in corrective eye surgery and independent practices. She holds postgraduate qualifications in glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and primary eye care.
In 2015, Andrea moved to Donegal and, after working with the National Diabetic RetinaScreen programme and St. Conal’s Hospital, opened her own practice in 2022. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Andrea continues to stay on the cutting edge of eye care. When not at work, she’s busy with her three children, keeping her even more active than her practice!
Katie Charlewood
Katie joined us in November 2022 and has dazzled with her natural talent for eyewear styling. Although new to the world of optics, Katie’s been rocking stylish specs since she was 14, long before it was cool. Her flair for picking the perfect frames ensures that clients not only look great but feel comfortable and confident in their choices. Outside of work, Katie channels her creativity into podcasting and writing, proving she’s just that cool!
